Superintendents See Massive Pay Increases While Teachers’ Pay Heads Downhill

Average teacher pay throughout the state has been going down over the past three years; however, state school superintendents’ pay has increased by as much as 47% over the same period. Superintendents make an average salary of $102,400 while teachers average less than half that amount, $43,500. Over 50% of superintendents make $100,000 or more and 40/55 of them saw salary increases this year.
